PlanElec Pro · for electrical contractors in Belgium
Capture the installation once.Everything stays connected.
Floor plan, circuits, distribution board, single-line diagram and situation plan come from one project, and the AREI/RGIE self-check (the Belgian wiring regulations) reviews every change. What you enter once, you don’t have to copy into three files.

Three steps on the sample house
From what you have
to the documents.
Bring in what you already have, capture the installation your way and export checked documents. PV, home automation and lighting come afterwards.
1 / 3
What you already have.
A fresh start.
Bring in what you already have: Trikker files one by one or as a whole archive, floor plans as PDF, DXF or image, and scans with AI recognition.
Trikker projects arrive in your account with single-line diagram, circuits and loads. You read the floor plan in from a PDF, DXF or image, or let the AI recognise it. Everything stays editable, and you plan the rest directly in PlanElec.
Trikker files (.trik)Recommended
One file or the whole archive. Single-line diagram, circuits and loads arrive as a project; the situation plan stays behind.
Drop files, a folder or a ZIP with your Trikker projects (.trik) onto the import page. PlanElec turns them into projects in your account. All you need is a signed-in account, including “Try Pro”.
One file or the whole archive
Files, a folder or a ZIP: up to 500 files per run, ZIP up to 200 MB.
One project per file
The original stays attached to the project as a file. Your files on your computer are only read.
Preview before anything is created
You see each file's status: ready, with notes, duplicate or error. Only then do you create the projects.
Runs in the background
Once the files are uploaded you can close the window. An email follows at the end, and the report is available as a CSV.
Single-line diagram, circuits and loads are carried over. The situation plan stays behind, and the report lists every deviation. A single file also opens without an account in PlanElec Sketch.
When something changes
One change.
Nothing to copy into three files.
Move a device or a wall and PlanElec recalculates what depends on it. Anything that needs a professional decision is proposed – and waits for you.
Before
After
Illustration: the socket moves, the automatically routed cable and its length follow.
Cable route and length
Automatically routed cables are re-routed and their length recalculated. Sections you fixed and manual lengths stay as they are.
Automatic
AREI self-check
Checks again after every change and shows new or resolved notes.
Automatic
Single-line diagram
Follows the circuit model. You don’t redraw it.
Automatic
Circuits
You assign new devices – with the tool, an automatic proposal or the assistant.
On proposal
Distribution board
New protective devices appear as not yet placed. Auto-fill proposes a layout; known positions are kept.
On proposal
Documents
Every PDF is generated from the current project state when you export. Material and cable lists are in pilot.
On export
Your benefit: less duplicate entry and less rework when something changes on site.

You stand in the room and dictate the equipment. After sending, the assistant applies clear-cut changes straight away; to see what is coming first, you ask for a preview, as here. Every change can be undone in one step.
Ground floorKitchen
Tap “Start dictation” and say what goes into the room.
PV, home automation, lighting and the distribution board build on the same plan. You never enter anything twice.
Going further
From roof layout
to expected yield.
Lay out module fields across several roof faces, assign strings to MPPT inputs and choose inverters from the Synergrid list. The yield forecast calculates each field with PVGIS data and shows monthly values plus P50 and P90 from historical weather years.
Roof layout · Electrical design · Yield forecast. Calculated with PVGIS data for location, orientation and tilt, including P50/P90, inverter clipping and DC cable losses.

Sketch does not lock you in. What you draw there becomes a Pro project in one click: single-line diagram, boards, circuits, cables and project details. You recreate the situation plan in Pro on the floor plan.

What does PlanElec cost?
With “Try Pro” you get to know Pro with your own project, with no payment details and no project limit. The plans: a single property for €12, once, or Pro for €24 per month with 3 seats, both excl. VAT. All details are on the pricing page. The price stays for as long as your subscription runs without a break.
Does the self-check replace the official inspection?
No. The software checks currently supported rules against your inputs. Measurements, on-site conditions and the official assessment belong to an approved inspection body.
Can I document existing installations?
Yes. You import Trikker files (.trik) into Pro one by one or as a whole archive: one project per file, and the original stays attached to the project. Import existing floor plans as PDF, DXF or image – or let the AI recognise them – and model the existing installation. The self-check shows which rules it assessed and where data is still missing.
Which devices does PlanElec run on?
In the browser, with no installation – best on a laptop or desktop. On tablet and phone the interface adapts, and you can install PlanElec as a web app. Offline work on open projects is in pilot.
What happens to my project data with AI features?
The language model runs in the EU region. The AI provider does not store the requests or use them for training. For recognition, PlanElec only sends the selected plan page or the selected photos. For dictation, the voice recording goes to a transcription service that is currently not limited to EU data centres; details are in the privacy policy.
What does the AI do in PlanElec?
The PlanElec assistant carries out plain-language instructions directly in your project: rooms, devices, circuits, cables, distribution board and PV. Every change is checked by the AREI self-check and can be reverted in one step. The AI also recognises floor plans from PDFs, scans or images and distribution boards from photos. Responsibility for design and installation stays with the electrical contractor, the official assessment with the inspection body.
How does dictation work?
In the AI assistant you tap the microphone and speak Dutch, French, German or English. Recognition knows technical terms such as residual current or single-line diagram. You see the recognised text and correct it if needed before sending it. The assistant then carries out the instruction; every change can be undone in one step.
