Version: v6-2026-10-23
General Terms and Conditions of PlanElec
Version and effective date: v6 (identifier v6-2026-10-23), effective from 02/11/2026; replaces the Terms of Use v4 “PlanElec Early Access” of 29/06/2026.
Automatic renewal of PlanElec Pro. A Pro subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period for the same period (one month for Pro monthly, one year for Pro yearly) unless you cancel it no later than the last day of the current billing period. You cancel in your account under “Manage subscription” or by email to info@planelec.be. As a consumer, you can afterwards cancel a renewed subscription at any time without compensation, Pro yearly with one month’s notice; we refund the price paid in advance for the time after the end of the contract on a pro rata basis (C.6).
These terms consist of Part A (for everyone), Part B (additionally for businesses), Part C (additionally for consumers) and Part D (final provisions). The instructions on withdrawal with the model withdrawal form are set out in the annex.
Part A – General provisions
A.1 Provider and contact
A.1.1 PlanElec is provided by Stephan Behm, sole trader, trade name PlanElec.be, Heggen 34, 4837 Baelen, Belgium, enterprise number 1043.329.030, VAT number BE 1043.329.030, email info@planelec.be (“PlanElec” or “we”).
A.1.2 Please send questions, complaints and statements about your contract to info@planelec.be, questions about invoices also to billing@planelec.be, and data protection requests to privacy@planelec.be.
A.2 Scope and definitions
A.2.1 These terms apply to every contract for the use of PlanElec: the web application PlanElec Pro at planelec.be, including the connection to AI assistants via PlanElec’s MCP server, PlanElec Sketch at sketch.planelec.be insofar as you are signed in there with your PlanElec account, and the related websites and interfaces (together the “Service”).
A.2.2 A consumer is any natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession. A business is any natural or legal person acting for such purposes, including a self-employed person. When you buy, you state whether you are buying as a business or as a private individual; this determines whether Part B or Part C also applies.
A.2.3 Where Part B or Part C provides otherwise, it takes precedence over Part A. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected in every case.
A.2.4 PlanElec currently sells paid plans only to customers with a billing address in Belgium.
A.3 Services and plans
A.3.1 PlanElec is a browser-based tool for planning and documenting electrical installations under the Belgian regulations (AREI/RGIE, the Belgian General Regulation on Electrical Installations), for example single-line diagrams, position plans, distribution boards and bills of materials. The features of each plan are described in the Service and on the pricing page (https://planelec.be/pricing) at the time of the order.
A.3.2 Free. Free (“Try Pro” on the website) is free of charge and unlimited in time. You can plan without limits on projects and circuits; exports show the usable values only with masked areas. The pricing page lists further limits of Free.
A.3.3 Early Access Pro. Accounts created before paid plans start on 02/11/2026 can use the full scope of Pro, including the connection to AI assistants and the import of Trikker files, free of charge from 02/11/2026 up to and including 01/12/2026. Early Access Pro is not purchased Pro: there is no invoice and no obligation to pay, and it ends without cancellation. The account then continues as Free; your projects are kept.
A.3.4 Pro. Pro unlocks all documents without masked values for all projects of an organisation and includes the connection to AI assistants via PlanElec’s MCP server. Three editor seats are included, and you can book more; read access is free of charge and unlimited. Pro is billed monthly or yearly and always belongs to an organisation; if you book Pro for yourself alone, you receive a personal organisation for it.
A.3.5 Pro single use. Single use unlocks exports without masked values and watermarks for exactly one property, whose address you confirm when buying, including twelve months of editing from activation. After that, the project remains in read-only mode and exporting remains possible without time limit. The property address is bound to the purchase and can only be changed through support. A further purchase for the same property extends the editing period by twelve months.
A.3.6 PlanElec Sketch is free of charge and can be used without an account. If you sign in to Sketch with your PlanElec account, these terms also apply to storing your drawings in the account.
A.3.7 Promotions. Codes and promotions, for example an additional month of Pro for an organisation, apply under the conditions PlanElec states when issuing them. They are not paid out in cash and do not change the price of a later subscription.
A.3.8 AI features. The Service contains features using artificial intelligence whose scope may be limited per plan. Their results are suggestions (A.8.2).
A.4 Account and organisations
A.4.1 You need a PlanElec account for Pro, single use and storage in Sketch. Your details must be accurate. An account belongs to one person and must not be shared.
A.4.2 Keep your credentials and access tokens secret and report any suspected misuse to info@planelec.be without delay.
A.4.3 In an organisation, the owner and administrators manage members, roles and editor seats. Anyone who orders Pro for an organisation or a business confirms that they are authorised to do so.
A.4.4 You can delete your account at any time in the profile settings; this ends the free account contract. You cancel a Pro subscription separately (A.7.2).
A.4.5 PlanElec may require you to confirm your email address before using your account. This does not cancel any entitlement that has already arisen, for example to Early Access Pro.
A.5 Conclusion of the contract
A.5.1 The presentation of the plans in the Service and on the website is not a binding offer.
A.5.2 You order in the Service: choose a plan or single use, enter your billing details, check the service, price and term in the summary and correct entries via “Change” or “Back”, accept these terms and click “Order with obligation to pay”. You then pay on the secure page of our payment service provider (A.6.5).
A.5.3 By clicking “Order with obligation to pay”, you make a binding offer. PlanElec accepts it by activating the ordered service after receiving your payment; the contract is concluded upon activation. An invoice issued before payment is not yet an acceptance. If the payment is not made, no contract is concluded.
A.5.4 If you book Pro during Early Access Pro, the subscription only starts when Early Access Pro ends; payment, activation and conclusion of the contract follow then. Until then, you can cancel the booking free of charge in your account under “Manage subscription” or by email.
A.5.5 The contract language is the language in which you order (Dutch, French, German or English). PlanElec stores your order and your consent with version, language and time. You can access, save and print the current version of these terms at https://planelec.be/legal/terms; on request, we send you the version that applied to your order by email.
A.6 Prices, invoices and payment
A.6.1 The prices shown in the summary before the order apply. Currently:
| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| Pro monthly, three editor seats included | EUR 24.00 per month |
| Pro yearly, three editor seats included | EUR 240.00 per year |
| Additional editor seat | EUR 5.00 per month or EUR 50.00 per year |
| Pro single use per property | EUR 12.00 once |
A.6.2 PlanElec.be applies the special exemption scheme for small enterprises under Article 56bis of the Belgian VAT Code. No VAT is charged; the invoice bears the note “Special exemption scheme for small enterprises”. The prices are final prices; PlanElec charges no further costs.
A.6.3 Price guarantee. The price of a Pro subscription stays the same for as long as the subscription runs without a break; this also applies to additional editor seats and to a switch between monthly and yearly billing. If the subscription ends, the price applicable at that time applies to a new subscription.
A.6.4 You pay for Pro in advance at the start of each billing period, and for single use when you order.
A.6.5 Payments are processed by the payment service provider Mollie B.V., Amsterdam, the Netherlands; the payment methods shown in the payment process are available. For Pro, you authorise PlanElec to collect the amounts for renewals and added services via Mollie from the stored means of payment. If there is no valid means of payment, you receive a payment link.
A.6.6 PlanElec issues invoices and credit notes electronically and sends them as a PDF by email to your billing address; businesses with a Belgian VAT number also receive them via the Peppol network (B.3). You agree to electronic invoicing. Please keep your billing details up to date.
A.6.7 If a renewal payment fails, PlanElec informs you and offers a payment link. If the payment is still not made, PlanElec may restrict access to the scope of Free, for businesses no earlier than seven days after the due date (B.7), for consumers only after a free payment reminder (C.5). Once paid, Pro is fully available again immediately. The outstanding claim remains.
A.6.8 If you reverse a payment (chargeback) without being entitled to a refund, the subscription ends at the end of the current billing period; the claim remains. Statutory rights, such as withdrawal, remain unaffected.
A.7 Term, renewal, cancellation and changes to the subscription
A.7.1 A Pro subscription starts upon activation and runs for one month (Pro monthly) or one year (Pro yearly). It renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel it no later than the last day of the current billing period.
A.7.2 You can cancel at any time in your account under “Manage subscription” or by email to info@planelec.be. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; until then, Pro remains available. PlanElec refunds nothing for the current billing period unless these terms or the law provide otherwise.
A.7.3 Until it takes effect, you can withdraw the cancellation under “Manage subscription”; the subscription then continues unchanged.
A.7.4 Editor seats. An added seat is available immediately after payment; for the current billing period you pay the seat price pro rata for the remaining days (part days count as full days), and the full seat price thereafter. You remove a seat with effect from the end of the current billing period, without a refund.
A.7.5 Billing interval. A switch from monthly to yearly takes effect immediately after payment: a new yearly period starts and the remaining value of the current monthly period is credited. A switch from yearly to monthly takes effect at the end of the current yearly period. You can withdraw a scheduled change until its effective date.
A.7.6 After Pro ends, your account continues as Free; your projects are kept, and exports show masked values again.
A.7.7 Termination by PlanElec. PlanElec may terminate a subscription with at least 30 days’ notice to the end of a billing period. For good cause, in particular a serious or repeated breach of these terms, PlanElec may terminate the contract without notice after informing you in advance. PlanElec refunds amounts paid in advance for the time after the end of the contract on a pro rata basis.
A.7.8 Single use is a one-off purchase; it does not renew and does not need to be cancelled.
A.8 Your obligations and professional responsibility
A.8.1 You use the Service within the law. You only upload content that you are entitled to use and do not use the Service to infringe third-party rights.
A.8.2 PlanElec supports you in planning, calculation and documentation. Professional responsibility for the design, the execution and the documents you submit lies with you or the professional you appoint; the conformity inspection under the AREI/RGIE is carried out by the approved inspection body. Check results, review notes, quantities and prices before use, in particular results of AI features.
A.8.3 Your projects and content belong to you. You grant PlanElec the rights needed to store, process, display and export them for you and to share them with others according to your settings.
A.8.4 Third-party data in the Service, such as manufacturer data, Synergrid lists or material prices, is subject to the conditions of those third parties; PlanElec does not guarantee its accuracy unless PlanElec created it itself.
A.9 Availability and changes to the Service
A.9.1 PlanElec operates the Service with the care of a diligent provider. Uninterrupted availability is not owed; maintenance, security measures and disruptions at third parties may temporarily restrict the Service. PlanElec announces planned maintenance in advance where possible.
A.9.2 PlanElec develops the Service further and may change it for a valid reason, for example technical development, security, changed regulations or changes at third parties, without additional costs for you. If a change impairs the use of a paid plan more than only slightly, PlanElec informs you by email at least 30 days in advance. You may then terminate the contract free of charge within 30 days after the notice or after the change, whichever is later; PlanElec refunds amounts paid in advance for the time thereafter on a pro rata basis.
A.9.3 PlanElec provides Free and Early Access Pro free of charge and as they are available at any given time. There is no entitlement to specific features or a specific availability there; PlanElec may change, restrict or discontinue them. The mandatory rights of consumers remain unaffected.
A.9.4 If PlanElec discontinues the Service entirely, it announces this at least 60 days in advance, enables the export of your data until then and refunds amounts paid in advance for the time after the discontinuation on a pro rata basis.
A.10 Liability
A.10.1 PlanElec is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, including that of its agents, for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health and wherever the law makes liability mandatory.
A.10.2 For Free and Early Access Pro, PlanElec is not liable beyond this; liability for loss of profit, consequential damage or data loss is excluded there to the extent permitted by law. The mandatory rights of consumers (C.4) remain unaffected.
A.10.3 For paid contracts, B.4 applies to businesses and C.4 to consumers.
A.10.4 Back up important project data using the export functions. Data loss that adequate backups would have prevented is taken into account when determining liability.
A.11 Data, data protection and export
A.11.1 PlanElec processes personal data in accordance with the privacy policy (https://planelec.be/legal/privacy). As evidence of your acceptance of these terms, PlanElec stores the time, version, language, IP address and user agent, and on purchase also the identifier of the consent texts and your choice regarding immediate start (C.2.4).
A.11.2 Your projects remain in your account after a plan ends (A.7.6). You can download your data using the Service’s export and download functions. Your rights of access and data portability under the General Data Protection Regulation remain unaffected.
A.11.3 If you delete your account, PlanElec deletes your projects in accordance with the periods set out in the privacy policy. PlanElec retains invoices, credit notes and contract records for as long as the law requires.
A.11.4 For businesses, B.6 (data processing on behalf of the customer) also applies.
A.12 Public content, permitted use and protection of the software
A.12.1 Definitions. This section applies to the entire Service (A.2.1), including the websites planelec.be and sketch.planelec.be.
- “Public content”: everything accessible without signing in, such as the web pages, blog and help articles, calculators, the AREI/RGIE reader, datasheets and catalogues, the PlanElec Sketch application and its entry pages, the sign-in pages themselves,
llms.txtand the public JSON endpoints described inhttps://planelec.be/llms.txt. - “Non-public parts”: everything accessible only after signing in (the PlanElec Pro application, projects, accounts and subscriptions) and all interfaces that are not documented as public.
A.12.2 Reverse engineering. You may not decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the software of the Service, or otherwise derive, modify or create derivative works of its source code, structure or algorithms, unless and to the extent that the law expressly permits it. The mandatory rights of the lawful user under Articles 5(2), 5(3) and 6 of Directive 2009/24/EC on the legal protection of computer programs and under Book XI of the Belgian Code of Economic Law (CEL), in particular observing how the software works and decompiling it for interoperability, remain unaffected.
A.12.3 Use of public content. Public content may, including by automated means within the rules of robots.txt and the rate limits, be retrieved, indexed, stored temporarily or in a search index, quoted, used to answer questions, used as a source for retrieval and used to train AI models. We appreciate attribution to planelec.be; results of the public agent tools must be cited with the source they provide when re-used, because they contain third-party data with its date and origin. For public content, PlanElec declares no reservation within the meaning of Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790. This permission applies to the extent that PlanElec holds rights in the content; third-party rights remain unaffected (see A.12.7).
A.12.4 Non-public parts. You may not access or extract non-public parts by automated means, in particular by scraping, crawling, bots, scripts, headless browsers, data extraction or bulk requests, or systematically extract data from them. The following are expressly permitted:
- a) PlanElec’s official MCP server (
https://planelec.be/mcp) and the documented integrations with AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude, within your subscription, your project roles and the permissions you granted at sign-in; - b) the Service’s export and download functions, and accessibility tools.
You may use your own project data freely through these routes.
A.12.5 Security and rate limits. You may not circumvent or disable security, authentication, rate-limiting or access mechanisms, including on public endpoints, share or resell credentials or tokens, or load the Service in a way that impairs its operation for other users. Anyone who reports a vulnerability in good faith through the contact in https://planelec.be/.well-known/security.txt and stays within the legal framework for coordinated vulnerability disclosure does not breach this section.
A.12.6 Taking over databases. To the extent that PlanElec holds a database maker’s right in the catalogues or the datasheet collection, you may not make these databases available again, in whole or in a substantial part, including by repeated and systematic extraction of insubstantial parts, in a competing product or service. Use under A.12.3 remains permitted. In case of doubt, the permissions in A.12.3 and A.12.4 and the statutory exceptions prevail.
A.12.7 Rights and limits. PlanElec relies only on rights that it actually holds or that have been validly granted to it. Official texts of public authorities, such as the AREI/RGIE itself, are not protected by copyright (Article XI.172(2) CEL). Mere facts and individual data, such as technical values, are free; a database right protects only the database as a whole or substantial parts of it, not the individual data. Third-party data, such as Synergrid lists or manufacturer data, remain subject to the rights and terms of those third parties; PlanElec grants no rights in them. This section does not limit any rights that mandatory law grants you, such as extracting insubstantial parts of a database (Directive 96/9/EC), quotation, the exception for scientific research and your rights of access to and portability of your own data.
A.12.8 Consequences of a breach. If A.12.2, A.12.4, A.12.5 or A.12.6 is breached, PlanElec may, in proportion to the seriousness of the breach:
- a) ask you to stop the breach;
- b) temporarily restrict or block the access, tokens or API keys concerned; immediately where there is an imminent risk to the Service or other users, otherwise after prior notice with an opportunity to respond;
- c) in the case of a serious or repeated breach, terminate the contract under A.7.7;
- d) seek an injunction and claim compensation for the damage actually suffered under general law.
Where this is possible without risk, you can export your own project data even after a block. The mandatory rights of consumers remain unaffected.
Part B – Special provisions for businesses
B.1 Scope. Part B also applies if you buy as a business. The business’s own general terms and conditions do not apply, even if PlanElec does not expressly object to them.
B.2 No right of withdrawal. Businesses have no statutory right of withdrawal; Part C does not apply to them.
B.3 Invoices via Peppol. PlanElec also sends invoices and credit notes to businesses with a Belgian VAT number as a structured electronic invoice via the Peppol network, to the Peppol identifier derived from the enterprise number (0208:enterprise number, alternatively 9925:VAT number). If the business cannot be reached there, the invoice by email remains. The business ensures that its billing details are accurate.
B.4 Liability. For paid contracts, PlanElec is liable to businesses for slight negligence only for foreseeable damage typical for the contract and at most up to the amount the business paid to PlanElec in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the damage. PlanElec is not liable for loss of profit, indirect damage and data loss in the case of slight negligence. A.10.1 remains unaffected.
B.5 Defects. The business reports defects to info@planelec.be; PlanElec remedies them within a reasonable time. If this fails for a material defect, the business may terminate the contract without notice and receives a pro rata refund of amounts paid in advance for the time thereafter.
B.6 Data processing on behalf of the customer. Insofar as PlanElec processes personal data on behalf of the business, for example details of its customers in projects, the data processing agreement at https://planelec.be/legal/avv applies in addition.
B.7 Late payment. If a payment due is not made, PlanElec may restrict access to the scope of Free no earlier than seven days after the due date. The rights under the Belgian Act of 2 August 2002 on combating late payment in commercial transactions remain unaffected.
B.8 VAT. If the exemption under A.6.2 ends, PlanElec may charge businesses the statutory VAT in addition to the price from the following billing period. PlanElec gives at least 30 days’ notice; the business may cancel with effect from the date the change takes effect.
B.9 Jurisdiction. For disputes with businesses, the Belgian courts competent for PlanElec’s seat in Baelen have exclusive jurisdiction.
Part C – Special provisions for consumers
C.1 Scope. Part C also applies if you buy as a private individual. As a consumer, you can only buy paid plans with a billing address in Belgium; PlanElec does not accept orders with another country.
C.2 Right of withdrawal
C.2.1 Right of withdrawal and period. You can withdraw from any contract with PlanElec, that is Pro, single use and the free account contract, within 14 days without giving any reason. The period starts on the day after the conclusion of the contract (A.5.3: activation after receipt of payment) and ends at the end of the 14th day; if that day is a Saturday, a Sunday or a public holiday in Belgium, it ends at the end of the next working day. Brussels time applies.
C.2.2 Exercising the right. You withdraw by an unequivocal statement, without giving reasons:
- online using the withdrawal function at https://planelec.be/billing/withdrawal: after signing in, choose “Withdraw from contract”, check the statement and confirm it with “Confirm withdrawal”. You find the same entry point in your account under “Plan and billing”, under “Manage subscription” and, for single use, in the project’s export;
- without signing in, using the form “Withdraw without account access” on the same page;
- by email to info@planelec.be or by letter to the address in A.1.1, optionally using the model withdrawal form in the annex.
After a statement via the website, you receive an acknowledgement of receipt by email without delay, stating the content of your statement and the date and time of receipt. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the statement before the period expires.
C.2.3 Effects of withdrawal. Your withdrawal ends the contract. Via the online function, PlanElec ends Pro or the activation of single use immediately; for a statement made in another way, as soon as PlanElec has matched it to your contract. Your account then continues as Free and your projects are kept; exports of the property of a withdrawn single use show masked values again unless another purchase still covers the property. PlanElec refunds all payments received, less any compensation under C.2.6, without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal, using the same means of payment you used for the payment; PlanElec does not charge you any fees for this. You receive the credit note by email. If you withdraw from an order that has not yet been paid, it ends at no cost to you.
C.2.4 Immediate start. When ordering, you can expressly request, in a separate box that is not pre-ticked, that PlanElec start the service before the withdrawal period expires. The request is voluntary and not a condition for the order. Your right of withdrawal remains in either case; starting the service does not end it. In both cases, PlanElec activates the ordered service after receiving payment. If you requested the immediate start, you owe compensation under C.2.6 if you withdraw; if you did not request it, you owe no compensation and receive the full amount back.
C.2.5 Single use. Single use is a service covering twelve months of editing. Exports do not end your right of withdrawal and do not increase the compensation.
C.2.6 Compensation. If you requested the immediate start (C.2.4), you pay a proportionate amount for the service provided until your withdrawal is received. PlanElec calculates it for each paid invoice of the withdrawn contract:
Compensation = invoice amount paid × days of use ÷ days of the service period, rounded down to the full cent.
- Days of use are the calendar days in Brussels time from the day of activation (inclusive) to the day your withdrawal is received (exclusive). If you withdraw on the day of activation, you owe nothing.
- The service period is, for Pro, the paid billing period (28 to 31 days for Pro monthly, 365 or 366 days for Pro yearly) and, for added seats, the period for which they were charged; for single use, it is the twelve months of editing of the purchase (365 or 366 days).
- If a plan was replaced by a change before the withdrawal, days of use only count until the replacement.
- Exports and payment and transmission fees do not increase the amount. Amounts already refunded or credited are deducted. If an amount cannot be represented to the cent in the credit note, PlanElec rounds in your favour.
Examples: Pro monthly at EUR 24.00 with a service period of 30 days, withdrawal ten days after activation: EUR 24.00 × 10 ÷ 30 = EUR 8.00 compensation, EUR 16.00 refund. Single use at EUR 12.00, withdrawal 14 days after activation: EUR 12.00 × 14 ÷ 365 = EUR 0.46 compensation, EUR 11.54 refund.
C.2.7 Instructions on withdrawal. The instructions on withdrawal and the model withdrawal form are set out in the annex to these terms.
C.3 Legal guarantee. For digital content and digital services, the legal guarantee of conformity under Articles 1701/1 to 1701/19 of the former Belgian Civil Code applies. Report defects to info@planelec.be; PlanElec brings the service into conformity at no cost to you. Your other statutory rights remain unaffected.
C.4 Liability. PlanElec is liable to you in accordance with the statutory provisions. For slight negligence, PlanElec is only liable for foreseeable damage; this does not apply in the event of death or personal injury or if PlanElec fails to perform an essential contractual obligation. A.10.1 remains unaffected.
C.5 Payment reminder. If a payment is not made, you first receive a free payment reminder with a period of at least 14 calendar days, counted from the third Belgian working day after it is sent. Only after this period has expired may PlanElec restrict access under A.6.7. PlanElec currently charges you no reminder fees, interest or lump sums.
C.6 Cancellation after automatic renewal. After an automatic renewal, you can cancel your Pro subscription at any time without compensation. For Pro monthly, the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. For Pro yearly, it takes effect, at your request, one month after it is received; PlanElec then refunds the price for the remaining time pro rata by calendar days. For such a cancellation, write to info@planelec.be. Before a yearly subscription renews automatically, PlanElec reminds you by email no later than 15 days before the last day for cancellation.
C.7 Complaints and mediation. Please send complaints to info@planelec.be. If we cannot find a solution, you can contact the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service: Consumentenombudsdienst / Service de Médiation pour le Consommateur, North Gate II, Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8, box 1, 1000 Brussels, https://www.consumentenombudsdienst.be or https://www.mediationconsommateur.be. PlanElec is willing to take part in proceedings before this service.
C.8 Jurisdiction. The statutory rules on jurisdiction apply to legal action (Article 624 of the Belgian Judicial Code).
Part D – Final provisions
D.1 Changes to these terms. PlanElec may change these terms for a valid reason, for example new features or plans, changes in the law or case law, or for security reasons; this does not change the price of a running subscription (A.6.3). PlanElec shows you a new version in the Service with a summary of the changes and asks for your consent. Without consent, you cannot continue to use the Service after the new version takes effect; withdrawal (C.2.2) and cancellation by email remain possible. If you do not consent, you may terminate a paid contract without notice; PlanElec refunds amounts paid in advance for the time from the new version taking effect on a pro rata basis.
D.2 Transfer. PlanElec may transfer the contract to a business that continues the Service, for example a company founded by Stephan Behm. PlanElec gives at least 30 days’ notice. You may then terminate the contract with effect from the transfer and receive a pro rata refund of amounts paid in advance for the time thereafter.
D.3 Applicable law. Belgian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Consumers retain the protection of the mandatory provisions of the country of their habitual residence.
D.4 Language versions. These terms are available in Dutch, French, German and English. All versions are equally valid; in the event of discrepancies, the version in the contract language prevails (A.5.5).
D.5 Severability. If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid. The invalid provision is replaced by the statutory rule.
Annex – Instructions on withdrawal and model withdrawal form
The following instructions on withdrawal apply to consumers (identifier withdrawal-v6-2026-10-23). C.2.6 sets out how the compensation is calculated.
Instructions on withdrawal
These instructions apply to contracts that you conclude with PlanElec as a consumer: PlanElec Pro, Pro single use and the free PlanElec account.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Stephan Behm, PlanElec.be, Heggen 34, 4837 Baelen, Belgium, email: info@planelec.be) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory. You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at https://planelec.be/billing/withdrawal (after signing in, using the “Withdraw from contract” button). If you use this online feature, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by email), including its content and the date and time of its submission, without undue delay. You can also electronically fill in and submit the model withdrawal form or any other unequivocal statement on our website https://planelec.be/billing/withdrawal (form “Withdraw without account access”). If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by email) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.
Model withdrawal form
(complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract)
